We went out and got dirty

Today we finally got our fence finished. Soooo nice!!! Anyway, now that the kids and dogs are caged in I feel more comfortable going out and playing with the kids....and plus it was almost 70 degree's. How could you not be outside? Anyway, here are a few picture's of our adventure's in the back yard. Mainly bubbles and dirt!

This weekend we had a little White Family re-union. Here is a picture of my grandparent's with all their great-grand kids....16 total....and 2 that are still in their mama's bellies. We were only missing one little one who wasn't able to make it. That makes for 19 great-grand kids.

I thought you would enjoy this Aunt Dee...especially since Cameron got his first grass stain on his pants. ;o) His mama was proud.

Poor Cameron was such a sweet heart...until we decided to take a picture. We should have taken the picture at the very first...but here are all the kids in all their glory of grass stained pants and wind blown hair. Too bad I cropped Abigale out trying to capture Cameron...than we would have had a picture of ALL of them.

P.S. We missed you Aunt Dee, Aunt Vicki, Uncle Rick, Heather and Shelby.

Ethan's 4th Birthday

This past weekend was Ethan's 4th Birthday. He could not have waited any longer. He started counting down the days about a month ago. He woke up and walked down the stairs and I told him "Good Morning and Happy Birthday"...he got a big smile on his face and ran back upstairs to measure himself on the growth chart. He came running back and informed me that he was 5" tall. (I told him I thought he might be just a little taller than 5", but he wasn't having any of it ;o)) I then asked him if he felt any different now that's he's 4, and I got a big YES nod from him. So I asked him what felt different...."I think my voice is a little different and I'm a lot taller today mommy". Apparently it's a BIG deal to be four years old.

Trip to Oregon

This last week we made a trip through Oregon for a much needed visit with Luke's Grandma's. First stop was Portland to visit Grandma Dorothy and then onto to Gold Beach to visit Grandma Flo. The kids did great in the car, considering 4 out of the 5 days were actually IN the car for 6 hours or more. Some one had a bright idea to drive all the way down the coast (shhhh...my fault) on the second day and that ended up being 10 hours in the car. It would have been beautiful if the sun were actually out. Needless to say, the first picture is what our view was for the trip down the coast. We did stop in Tillamook for lunch and watch them package up some cheese. It poured down rain for 2 days, and finally on the day we left Gold Beach the sun came out. It made for a much more enjoyable car ride back to Portland though.
