Finally...Clayton's Walking

Clayton has finally decided to join the rest of us and walk on his own two feet. He is doing amazingly well and now even stands on top of boxes and thinks he can jump off (he's been watching his big brother too long)!!! Don't worry it was just a little storage box and he barely landed on his head. ;o) He started taking solo steps last week...and he has progressed a ton in just a week.

Idler's Rest Preservatory

Labor Day hike around Idler's Rest. We were bums for most of the day so we thought some fresh air would make us feel better. So we went for a little hike up on Moscow Mtn after dinner.

I think it's about time Clayton starts walking on his own....but hey, why should he when he gets lugged around in a sling. He's in the sling because his daddy thought the stroller could be pushed through the grass you see above...and well this is the next best thing that was in the car. ;o) Having him that close made it a little hard to take picture's...so most of picture's are a blur thanks to a tiny hand trying to help.

Grumpy

This is the face my sweet husband gives me when the camera is pointed in his direction. In a way it's almost better than his "Chandler" smile...at least it shows a little emotion. But never the less I think it's a cute picture even if he is snarling. :o)

Little Dude is on the Move!

Clayton is now moving around the house with his little push car thingy! He loves it and would rather push this around than scoot, and he even spreads his legs in a full on spidey position to turn it to avoid bonking into walls and furniture. It's just a matter of weeks before he'll be walking on his own (hopefully). :o)
