Whirl Wind

So...where to even begin!!! We hit the road...which felt like on Saturday and finally just landed. The movers came bright and early Monday morning...and I was still in my pj's (but it doesn't necessarily have to be early for that ;o)) They packed ALL our STUFF (which is very nice by the way) Monday and then loaded the truck on Tuesday. Never the less we are sitting here going "Dang, we should have kept that out"...because now we get to dig through our packed storage unit....or just live with out it. ;o) It has been a VERY long week. We left Boise Wednesday afternoon after saying our good-byes. We stayed in Lewiston over night in a nice bed after sleeping on our floor in the empty house the night before (not highly recommended unless you're 2). Today was another full day packed full of meeting the movers at our storage unit and then watching them unload and then off to find our FREE 30 day apartment and unloading our loot. It's very clean, has all the necessities, it works. It's not a house but it works. After unloading our trailer we headed back to Lewiston to drop it off at Storage there, distribute dogs and then come back up to unpack boxes and put kiddies to bed. But instead of unpacking I'm sitting here ;o) Ethan can't figure out where all HIS stuff went ;o) I'm too tired to even think about it, and Clayton has been a trooper...though for some reason he's not liking to sleep alone at night lately. Oh...and Ethan is sporting his first shiner. He had an accident at our last play date on Tuesday and ended up with a little black eye. I would post picture's...but our card reader was one of things we forgot to grab before the movers got to it...so now it's lost in Storage land. So you'll just have to put up with my boring words until we either buy a new card reader or by some miracle we find it easily in a box. Boise has been good to us and we'll miss it and all our friends...but we'll be back to visit and bug ya.

Not much is going on this week. Luke is enjoying his last few days at Micron and I'm trying not to think too much about all the stuff that needs to be done in order to move. We can't do much until Sunday because our Open House is this Sunday and then the movers are coming Monday. So I'm sure we'll be busy enough come Sunday night until we get to Pullman on Thursday. We're just enjoying our last week in Boise and getting together with friends for good-byes :o( Oh...and no more activity on our house this week...it's pretty sloooooow! I'm afraid people are scared to death to purchase a home these days. So pray that our Open House goes well.

Hurray!!!

Finally, we had our first showing Wednesday afternoon and then another one Thursday morning. :o) No offers yet though. If I keep saying we're going to sell it this weekend...it's bound to come true right? ;o)

Moving Out

So I've changed my mind once again. But I'm intitled to it since I'm a woman (and a mom) and all. I'm moving with Luke instead of staying here until our house sells. I've decided that it would be A LOT easier on me since I won't have to keep the house spottless...in case some one wants to look at our house...which hasn't been too bad yet because NO one has even looked at our house yet. :o( We're hoping all it will take is one showing and the people will buy it...THIS weekend ;o) Heck, we'd buy this house again ;o) We can't imagine why no one would NOT like this house...j/k...we're just trying to keep positive about it ;o) So the movers are arriving on Monday Sept. 22. We plan on heading out on Sept. 24 or 25. We aren't able to get into our 30 day rent free apartment until the 25th. It's nice we will have an extra 30 days with out an extra payment. So if our house is still sitting by the end of October we'll probably head to Lewiston and live with some nice Family members until our house sells. Next on the list of things to do is to farm out our animals. Since the apartment has a NO PET policy (crazy people... j/k) we have to find new temporary homes for our doggies and cat. We've found a temporary home for Kula, she is going to stay with her lovely Aunt Katie and keep her cousin Sunny company. Poor BB and Skitz are homeless at the moment. Even though Luke really wishes we could just leave Skitz behind, I have a soft spot in my heart for the cat...even if she is a pain some times. Anyone want a cat???? Preferably someone who doesn't know her history ;o)

Luke's 30th

We celebrated Luke's 30th Birthday in Lewiston on August 29th. He had LOTS of help blowing out his candles. ;o)
