3 Weeks

Boys are....

GROSS!!! Or at least the one I have is. I shouldn't be sharing this with you...because it is quite embarrassing...and disgusting....and the fact that this isn't the first time. So this morning Ethan was being such a good boy playing all sweet in the play room by himself. I was thankful for that because I actually had a chance to read the news with out someone interrupting me. Anyway, I was just finishing up the news and I hear Ethan come walking to me "Mommy"...in his sweet little voice. I thought he wanted to show me a toy....ummm...so I was wrong. I look up and see Ethan walking towards me with one hand in the air..."Mommy"...and continues to bring the hand closer and closer to me...."Wait...STOP". Yes...he had gone down his diaper and mistakenly stuck his fingers in POO!!! He turns to run off and continue playing...as if he was proud of what he just came to share with me. I jump up and yell "Don't touch ANYTHING"...while trying to get him to the bathroom to dump a gallon of bleach on him (kidding). But I did make him wash his hands in warm water...but according to Ethan it was HOT. Just to clarify...everything is HOT to him unless it came out of the fridge. Well I'm off to disinfect ALL his toys now. Hope everyone enjoys the warm weather today.

What Mom wouldn't be proud of a moment like this? I just missed the snot stringing from his noise out to his extended finger. But I thought the smile on his face was priceless....he was pretty proud.

2 Weeks

Clayton had his 2 week check up Tuesday - he is now 9lbs 1 oz.

Binky Update: Ethan has managed to do the dirty work for us...he's voluntarily thrown all of his remaining binky's down the air vent. However, he has now realized his mistake and is screaming for a binky. What's a (tired) mom supposed to do? I have managed to fish out one...but I think I'll let him think about his mistake for awhile ;o) I know...I'm a mean mommy. He usually forgets about it until bed time...so we'll see how that goes.

Oooops!!!

As many of you know...we have a child that is VERY attached to his Binky. He apparently thinks his binky is invincible...because it's always there for him when he needs it. Well today he decided to continue to play with the air vent that we are repeatedly telling him to leave alone. Needless to say he dropped the binky down it...No more binky...or at least THAT (favorite) binky. "Get it Mom" was what he told me. Sorry kiddo...can't get that one...it's GONE!

Calling for his Binky...you never know it might crawl right up out of there ;o)

1 Week - The Best Big Brother

Ethan is being such a sweet boy to his baby brother. In the car he's been holding Clayton's hand. Ethan fell asleep and was still holding onto little Clayton's hand. Even at the times Ethan is having a hard time sharing his mom it's good to know that he loves his brother.

Meet Clayton Allan

He's finally here! Clayton Allan was Born April 7, 2008 - 11:56 a.m. - 8lbs 13oz - 20 1/2"

My water broke 6:30 Monday morning...labor and delivery was fast with no complications. We are all doing very well. We got home Tuesday evening. It's nice to be home. Ethan is doing very well so far.

39 Weeks

Just thought I'd update everyone on how things are going. I've been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions...so I'm hoping that the real thing is going to happen SOON. My Dr. has give me the option of being induced next week...I might just take him up on his offer. While I'm waiting I took the opportunity to take a few picture's of Ethan to document his 2nd year.
